A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have experience working with both adults and teenagers and have worked with a range of issues including anger, panic, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, bereavement, loss and eating disorders. I have had specific training in suicide prevention, trauma, adverse childhood experiences, and abuse.
I work from the South Manchester Centre for Psychotherapy and The Heatons Centre, both in the heart of Heaton Moor and easily accessible by car or public transport.

Person-centered counselling is a compassionate approach to therapy that considers the client as the expert in their own life and experiences. As a person-centered counsellor, my goal is to work alongside you to understand exactly how things are for you, to listen attentively and without judgement, and to be open and honest with you, in order to facilitate a trusting and genuine relationship. As your counsellor, I will support and guide you as we explore what is going on for you, why, and what you can do about it. It will be my privilege to help you to discover your internal power and focus, and to witness your journey towards self fulfillment, empowerment and joy.
